Each home in Beacon at Presidential Heights comes with a smart home technology package. This includes a keyless front door lock, a video doorbell, a smart thermostat, a leak detector, a motion sensor, and contact sensors for each of the exterior doors. There is a monthly smart home package fee. The smart devices can be controlled remotely through the Rently Keyless application accessible on a mobile device.

Generate one-time access codes for the home or assign access codes and schedules to individuals. Set up notifications to receive alerts when the door is unlocked. Door contacts assist with safeguarding the home and notifications can be created to alert you to any door being opened or unlocked. Motion sensors also allow you to track movement in the home when you are away via alert notifications on the app.

The video doorbell uses your Wi-Fi. You can link the video doorbell to your Wi-Fi and customize the settings. Receive an alert when the video doorbell is pressed and speak to someone directly through your mobile device. You can also record HD video when motion is detected.
